Empowering Every Learner in a Diverse and Inclusive Community
At St Martins Lutheran College, we are deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment where every student has the opportunity to flourish. We have dedicated Leaders for Inclusion and Diversity in both the R-6 and 7-12 Villages, who work closely with families to navigate One Plans and ensure the necessary adjustments are in place. These adjustments aim to support students access our educational programs on the same basis as their peers, allowing them to participate fully in the St Martin’s learning journey.
Our committed team of Learning Assistants delivers evidence-based intervention programs, supporting students to close learning gaps and reach their full potential. We collaborate closely with families to ensure the right support structures are in place, enabling students to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
We also support families in accessing relevant Allied Health services and navigating the diagnosis process. We welcome Allied Health professionals to work with their clients within our setting, providing dedicated rooms and resources to facilitate these services and ensure that families can easily access the support they need. Throughout the College, we provide dedicated spaces for students who need a quiet environment to regulate. Additionally, our Wellbeing Centre, where our school counsellor is based, offers a safe and supportive space for students requiring escalated care. This comprehensive support system ensures that every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their best.
