St Martins Lutheran College offers a reliable and extensive bus network to support families across the Limestone Coast. Our College-operated regional bus services, along with the Mount Gambier City Bus Service, provide safe and convenient transport options for students.

Regional Bus Services
Regional Bus Routes
The College operates seven dedicated regional bus routes that transport students to and from the College. These services cover a wide geographical area and are designed to meet the needs of families living in surrounding communities.
Current routes service the following regions:
- Mil Lel – The Mil Lel bus commences at St Martins Lutheran College and travels through Mingbool, Mil Lel and Worrolong before arriving at the College.
- Port MacDonnell – The Port MacDonnell bus commences at Eight Mile Creek, travelling through Port MacDonnell and Allendale East before continuing north along the Riddoch Highway past Mount Schank. From there the bus is direct to the College.
- Kongorong – The Kongorong bus commences at Mount Schank and travels through Kongorong, continuing north along Carpenter Rocks Road towards O’Leary on the Park and Springview Drive estates. From TAFE SA on Wireless Road West the bus is direct to the College.
- Naracoorte – The Naracoorte bus route commences in Naracoorte, travelling through the town centre before proceeding south on the Riddoch Highway, from there the bus is direct to the College.
- Penola – The Penola bus commences in Penola, travelling through Nangwarry and Tarpeena before arriving at the College.
- Millicent – The Millicent bus commences in Millicent, travelling through Tantanoola and Compton, before proceeding on the Princes Highway to the College.
- Glencoe – The Glencoe bus route commences at Glencoe and travels through Wandilo and Suttontown before arriving at the College.
All buses arrive at the College by approximately 8:30 am and depart between 3:20 pm and 3:25 pm.

Mount Gambier City Bus
In addition to our regional routes, students living in the Mount Gambier city area can access the local council’s bus service, which includes stops at St Martins Lutheran College during morning and afternoon runs.

Bus Safety and Conduct
Bus Code of Conduct
We are committed to ensuring that all students travel to and from school safely. Students are expected to follow a clear code of conduct while travelling on College buses:
- Students enter the bus in an orderly fashion.
- Seat belts are worn correctly at all times.
- Students do not eat on the bus. On long trips, water may be consumed.
- Quiet conversation is acceptable. Orderly behaviour is expected.
- Students must keep all body parts within the bus and must not throw items out of the bus windows.
These expectations help us maintain a safe and respectful environment for all students.
