ICT Trainee

St Martins Lutheran College are seeking applications for our ICT Traineeship. The traineeship will combine formal vocational training (off-job training) with practical employment (on-job training).


The ICT Trainee will support the day-to-day technology needs of the College community. Duties include:
• Providing first-level ICT helpdesk support to staff, students, and parents
• Assisting with the installation, setup, and removal of ICT equipment
• Maintaining ICT equipment and work areas in an organised and tidy manner
• Creating and updating user guides and documentation for ICT systems and hardware

Requirements
• Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a South Australian Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment prior to commencement

Conditions
• This is a full-time, 12-month traineeship commencing immediately.
• The successful applicant will complete a Certificate III in a relevant discipline as part of the traineeship.
• As this is a traineeship, pay rates are set in accordance with the National Training Wage and will vary depending on the trainee’s highest level of schooling completed and the time elapsed since leaving school.
