On Monday September 4, 15 Senior School students participated in the 11/12 Volleyball Competition at the Wulanda Recreational Centre. The main aim of the day was for the region to have a formalised Volleyball competition, in addition to the existing day held during Physical Education week. Both the boys and girls teams came up against Mount Gambier, Penola, and Millicent High Schools in what were even competitions. The boys won 1 of their 3 encounters for the day, while the girls were undefeated coming into the last round before losing to Millicent High School in 2 sets, both by 3 or less points. The students represented the College in terrific spirit in what was a successful day for students to gain exposure of competitive Volleyball available in Mount Gambier.
