The Year 7&8s competed in the Festival of Sport held at Blue Lake Sports Park on Monday 14 November! The Year 7s played Kabi Kabi, which is a game of two halves where a player can run as far as they want unless touched, if touched they have two steps or to the count of 2 to release the ball, after four touches the ball is turned over to the other team. A team can score a touchdown by running the ball across the baseline. The Year 8s played Ultimate Frisbee on the grass but because of the weather some alterations were made to the games including changing from a frisbee to heavier ball. We hope that all students enjoyed their day of sport and thank you to the many staff from all schools for refereeing the games.
