Today, a small group of the College’s Year 6 students participated in debating at Tenison Woods College.
The Debating Eisteddfods had been previously cancelled due to COVID-19, but St Martins Lutheran College and Tenison Woods were still keen to give the students the opportunity to debate.
The topic of the debate was: ‘That Younger Siblings are Always Spoilt’. Both schools had two debating teams, one affirmative and one negative for the same topic.
The debates were closely battled, with much good research, anecdotal supporting evidence, rhetorical questions and even a little humour from both sides!
St Martins Lutheran College was fortunate to be awarded the victory for both debates! Well done to all involved – They can be very proud of their achievement!
