On Wednesday, March 25, to complete their History unit on Indigenous culture, the College’s Year 4 students went down to Port MacDonnell for an excursion. They were met by Uncle Ken, an Indigenous elder, who shared his knowledge on Boandik stories, tools and artefacts. The students had a wonderful time wandering along the beach and exploring the rock-pools, then learning a whale dance and song taught by Uncle Ken.
