During Term 2, the Year 3 students have immersed themselves in an integrated unit called ‘Whizz Bang Pop’. As a class, they have been reading Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The students have been busy completing literacy tasks, science experiments and visual art activities connected with the book. ‘Willy Wonka Day’ is a chance to celebrate their amazing learning. On Wednesday June 28, the students dressed up as their favourite character and prepared scrumptious treats such as chocolate crackles and fairy bread to enjoy as they relaxed and watched the movie.
