Dear Parents/Caregivers,

As you are aware, yesterday the South Australian Premier announced a 6 day state-wide lockdown starting at midnight last night (Wednesday 18 November) through to midnight Tuesday 24 November. In line with this directive, the College will be closed for all students from today until next Wednesday, except for those deemed as being children of essential workers and those under the guardianship of the Minister. A skeleton staff will provide supervision at the College for these students. As far as possible parents/caregivers are required to keep their children at home.

Students in the Middle/Senior Schools were instructed yesterday afternoon to take home their Chromebook and appropriate learning materials to complete existing assignments and tasks. Exams for Year 10 and 11 students have been cancelled. More information on learning programs for all students will be provided early next week, as we work our way through the new COVID-19 directions.

All South Australians are making sacrifices to ensure our community remains as safe as possible. We appreciate that this is a significant undertaking for you and your family. Your child’s teacher, our
support staff and I are here to support you where we can.

As the situation changes and more information comes to hand we will be in contact with you.

With warm regards,
Alan Connah | Principal
