On Wednesday June 21, Miss Palombo’s Stage 1 and 2 Food and Hospitality classes learnt about the techniques of building, shaking, and creating tasty drinks in a Mocktail Workshop with local hospitality professional Ben Deering. Students made three delicious classic mocktails, learnt how to make simple sugar syrups and grenadine, and learnt how garnishes not only make their drinks look pretty, but also enhance and complement the flavours in the glass. They were also able to get creative and create an original mocktail.
