In Week 7, our two Year 4 classes went on an excursion to Port MacDonnell as a wrap-up to their history unit on Boandik life before the arrival of Europeans. We were very lucky to have wonderful weather and a great day was had by all.
Evie – “My favourite part of the excursion was making and playing the Aboriginal game.”
Kordan – “I enjoyed making up the dance and doing it.”
Eli – “I liked doing the walk and making the art and sand sculpture.”
Matty – “I loved finding crayfish.”
Olivia – “I thought it was fun finding the dead fish head but I’m happy I didn’t have to eat it.”
Louie – “The best part of the day was making the sand sculptures.”
Mahli – “My favourite part of the excursion was picking up cool things off of the beach and then decorating our sand sculptures with them.”
A big thank you to the parents who accompanied us. Without you, we would not have been able to go.
