On Wednesday July 26, Junior SRC students loaded the bus this week to hand-deliver donations from last term’s ‘Warm Up the Winter Appeal’. The $500 cheque will help provide toasted sandwiches to people doing it tough. The centre pumps out around 2,800 toasties a month! Thanks to Sue and Trish at ac.care for showing the students around and getting a feel for where the donations go. “It’s great for the kids to see that there’s other people that aren’t so fortunate in our community, an for the school to be behind and encouraging those people is just wonderful” – Sue Watt, Regional Manager at ac.care.
