On March 8, the College’s Year 9 Outdoor Education class were out exploring the sink holes and snorkeling attractions around the Limestone Coast. Students started with a tour of Kilsby Sinkhole, followed by a swim at Little Blue Lake. Students then ventured to Ewens Ponds for a snorkel, with many lucky enough to spot freshwater crayfish. Students spent the night at the Port MacDonnell Foreshore Tourist Park and learnt to use cooking stoves for the first time. This camp has become a staple of the Year 9 Outdoor Education program and gives students a great introduction into the opportunities open to them in this subject.
