Over the course of Week 2, both of the Year 4 classes embarked on an exciting journey to the Halls Gap zoo. Over the two days, students enjoyed staying at Camp Acacia and participated in some fun team-building exercises. Highlights of their adventure included getting up close and personal with the animals at the zoo – feeding the deer, watching the meerkats, marveling at the giraffes, and even making friends with the speedy cheetah and the red panda. Students also walked to the Venus baths, and even though the rain couldn’t hold back, their enthusiasm was not dampened.
